Why does The Fragrance Lodge use soy wax?

Soy wax is sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable. Our soy wax is made from soybeans grown in the USA. This type of wax produces less soot than other types of wax, meaning it burns cleaner. Another added bonus, the wax burns slower which gives you more time to enjoy your candle!
Does The Fragrance Lodge use essential oils or fragrance oils?

We use phthalate free fragrance oils. This is because many essential oils evaporate too quickly when burned.

Phthalate is a group of chemicals used to make many products, such as toys, personal care products, and fragrance products. Researchers believe these chemicals can cause health problems when absorbed through the skin or inhaled. This is why all of our products are phthalate free.
